Dogfish sharks - species is Squalus acanthus, are a popular teaching specimen for biology and anatomy courses, specifically used for the teaching of cartilaginous fish anatomy. They are also great animal models to study comparative and vertebrate anatomy. Good for group dissection. The Double Injected (116-7510) has had the vessels injected with red (arteries) and blue (veins) latex.
