Rats, Double Injected
Westlab's preserved rats are a popular economical choice to learning about mamallian anatomy. Small and easy to dissect these rats are mature with fully developed organs.
Available in multiple pack sizes and as plain, double injected and triple injected. Double injected rats have injections to demonstrate the arteries (red) and the veins (blue). Triple injected rats have a yellow injection to better demonstrate the hepatic system.
Rat species is typically Rattus norvegicus.
The specimens are Classroom-Friendly, non-toxic, and safe, a great alternative to specimens stored in Formalin or Formaldehyde.
