Optical Ray Box Set

This all-inclusive kit includes a light/ray box and 29 optical components, making it perfect for exploring a wide range of experiments involving reflection, refraction, and color mixing. The light/ray box features a powerful 12V, 24A halogen lamp that can generate convergent, divergent, or parallel beams of light. At one end, there's an adjustable cylindrical convex lens designed for creating parallel beams, while the opposite end is equipped with a triple aperture system for engaging in color mixing experiments. Additionally, the lateral aperture includes an adjustable hinged mirror for enhanced functionality. Each aperture is designed with vertical channels that securely hold slit plates and color filters. To guide you through your experiments, the kit comes complete with a detailed instruction manual featuring 18 different activities.
