Westlab Hotplate and Magnetic Stirrer

Westlab’s Advanced Hot Plate Stirrer is equipped with a DC motor capable of delivering constant speed under varying load conditions.

The stirrer’s speed range from 200 to 2200 RPM in steps of 10 RPM allows for gentle to vigorous mixing. The adjustable timer setting allows the user to set the timer from 1 to 999 minutes with an infinite mode. With a temperature setting of ambient to 320°C, the unit has a safe temperature of up to 345°C. In addition, the stirrer’s rapid heat up allows a 1L beaker of water to be heated to 100°C in under 25 minutes.

The microprocessor control enables quick and easy programming in addition to the stirrer’s enhanced performance and efficiency. For added efficiency, the last run feature allows for the restored program to resume operation after a power failure. In addition, the power intermittent mode will auto restart the unit after power resumes for the left operational time.

The stirrer’s multipurpose digital display shows critical parameters for easy viewing. Note that there is a separate display for RPM/time and temperature values. The unit also provides an option of selecting either °C or °F as the temperature unit.

Includes retort stand and probe holder for vessel suspension during heating; PT-1000 probe enables accurate, real-time temperature control of the medium.

The stirrer is suitable for mixing and/or heating liquids with a maximum capacity of 10L. Ideal for use in general laboratories, pharmacies, schools, and universities.
