Acids Base Indicators and Titrations Kit

pH is the measure of the concentration of hydrogen ions in a solution. As this concentration can extend over several orders of magnitude, it is convenient to express it by means of logarithms of base ten. Certain pigments change color with a change in pH. In this experiment we will extract pigments from various sources and determine if they are sensitivie to changes in pH.

Kit Includes: 1 x 25 ml Hydrochloric Acid, 32% UN1789, 1 x 10 g Sodium Hydroxide UN1823, 2 x 30 ml Isopropyl Alcohol, 99% UN1219, 1 x 30 ml Acetone UN1090.
